This Privacy Statement explains the type of personal data that Aitonix AD Skopje (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”) collects from you when you visit our official/business premises, and how the Controller uses this data.
- Why do we collect (process) personal data?
The Controller collects personal data through the video surveillance system for the following reasons (purposes):
- To control access to the building (structure, entrance, premises, etc.) and ensure the security of the building, the safety of the Controller’s employees and visitors, as well as the property and information located or stored within the premises;
- To prevent, deter, and, if necessary, investigate unauthorized physical access, including access to secure or protected areas, IT infrastructure, or operational information;
- To prevent, detect, and investigate theft of equipment or assets owned by the Controller, visitors, or employees, or threats to the safety of personnel working on the premises (e.g., fire, physical assault).
The video surveillance system is not used for any other purpose, such as monitoring employees’ work or attendance. Cameras are positioned so that they do not cover public areas. The aim of the cameras is to provide a general overview of certain locations, not to identify individuals.
The surveillance system is also not used as an investigative tool or for gathering evidence in internal investigations or disciplinary proceedings, except in the case of a security incident for which video surveillance is justified in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection. The surveillance cameras are installed on the premises of Aitonix AD Skopje and are positioned and focused to record only individuals who access the official/business premises, including property (e.g., parking areas).

- What data does the Controller collect?
The Controller only collects images captured by the cameras; audio is not recorded.
- Who is responsible for processing the data?
The Controller is the entity that processes the personal data and determines the purposes of the processing solely in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection. Additionally, Mr. Zoran Pupkov is the contact person responsible for video surveillance.
- What is the legal basis for processing personal data through video surveillance?
The Controller uses video surveillance equipment for one or more of the following purposes:
- Protection of life or health of individuals;
- Protection of property;
- Protection of employees’ life and health due to the nature of the work; or
- Monitoring entry and exit from official or business premises.
Therefore, the processing is lawful in accordance with Article 90 of the Law on Personal Data Protection.
Furthermore, a clearly visible and comprehensible notice regarding video surveillance is placed at the entrance of Aitonix AD Skopje, informing data subjects about the surveillance, the name of the Controller, and how to obtain information about where and how long recordings are kept.
- Who can see my personal data?
Access to video recordings is limited to authorized personnel (e.g., the Controller’s security staff or the engaged private security agency). Access to the digital devices or drives where the video recordings are stored is protected by technical security measures (passwords, event logging of every action performed by employees or authorized individuals). Access is not possible without explicit authorization from Aitonix AD Skopje.
- How can you control your data?

- Can I access my data?
You have the right to access your data at any time, free of charge, by sending a request to Aitonix AD Skopje via email to: contact@aitonix.com.mk.
- Can I modify my data?
It is not allowed to alter video surveillance footage.
- Can I request restriction of processing of my data?
You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data at any time by submitting a request to Aitonix AD Skopje (e.g., contact@aitonix.com.mk or Boris Trajkovski 36/1-2, Skopje), in cases such as:
- You dispute the accuracy of the data,
- The Controller no longer needs the data for its purposes,
- You object to the deletion of data in cases of unlawful processing.
However, restriction is not possible in all cases, especially if a formal investigation is underway.
- Can I request the deletion of my data?
You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time by sending a request to Aitonix AD Skopje (e.g., contact@aitonix.com.mk or Boris Trajkovski 36/1-2, Skopje), particularly if the processing is unlawful.
- Are my personal data shared with others?
Your data is retained by the Controller unless you explicitly request or consent to share them. If data is shared with third parties, you will be informed about the recipient, the purpose, and the legal basis for the disclosure.

The Controller will respond within 15 days from the submission of your request.

- c) At any time, you may file a request with the Agency for Personal Data Protection at azlp.mk, which will handle your request and take appropriate measures.
- When does the processing of my personal data begin?
Processing starts the moment you visit the premises of the Controller.
- Security of personal data
The Controller is committed to protecting your personal data. It uses security technologies and procedures to safeguard your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Your data is stored on computer systems with restricted access in a controlled environment.
- How long do we retain your data?
The Controller retains your personal data for 30 calendar days after your visit, after which all video recordings are automatically deleted.
